Thailand Faces Fresh Airline Disruptions After Key Flight Cancellations

ANGKOK — Travel disruption hit Thailand this week after Air France and Thai Vietjet Air canceled three key flights from Bangkok, affecting both international and regional travelers.

Air France scrapped its scheduled Bangkok–Paris Charles de Gaulle service, impacting long-haul passengers connecting to Europe. Meanwhile, Thai Vietjet canceled two Airbus A320 flights to Techo International, leaving domestic travelers searching for alternative options during a busy travel period.

Passengers reported delays in rebooking and limited seat availability, particularly on international routes. Airlines have advised travelers to check flight statuses in advance and allow extra time for schedule changes.

The cancellations highlight ongoing operational challenges facing airlines in Asia, especially during peak travel seasons, as Thailand works to maintain stable air connectivity.
