China Southern Returns to India After Six-Year Break
China Southern Airlines is set to restore direct air connectivity between New Delhi and Guangzhou after a six-year absence, with flights scheduled to resume on 21 September 2026.
The airline will initially operate five flights per week between the two cities, with the service scheduled to become daily from 26 October. Flights will be operated by Boeing 737-8 aircraft.
The new service will reconnect India with China Southern’s major hub at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, giving passengers access to onward connections across China and the airline’s wider international network.
Flight CZ360 will depart New Delhi at 20:20, arriving in Guangzhou at 04:15 the following morning. The return CZ359 will leave Guangzhou at 15:35 and arrive in Delhi at 19:00.
The route is expected to support growing business, tourism, trade and cultural links between India and China, while providing more options for travellers between the two major Asian markets.
