Delta Sets Firm Launch Date for Atlanta–Riyadh A350 Flights

Delta Air Lines has confirmed a firm launch date for its long-anticipated nonstop service between Atlanta (ATL) and Riyadh (RUH), marking a major expansion of the carrier’s Middle East network. The new route will be operated using Delta’s flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft, underscoring the airline’s focus on premium long-haul travel and growing global connectivity.

The Atlanta–Riyadh service is scheduled to commence in 2025, with Delta positioning the route to meet rising demand for travel between the United States and Saudi Arabia. Atlanta, Delta’s largest global hub, will provide seamless connections to hundreds of destinations across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, making Riyadh more accessible to U.S. travelers than ever before.

Delta’s A350-900 will offer customers a full suite of onboard products, including Delta One Suites, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin, delivering enhanced comfort on the ultra-long-haul journey. The aircraft’s advanced fuel efficiency and lower emissions also align with Delta’s sustainability goals while supporting the airline’s international growth strategy.

The new route reflects strengthening economic and tourism ties between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, as Riyadh continues to position itself as a global business, cultural, and tourism hub under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative. For Delta, the service further solidifies its presence in the Middle East and adds another strategic long-haul destination to its expanding global network.

With ticket sales expected to open soon, the Atlanta–Riyadh A350 service is poised to become one of Delta’s most significant international route launches in recent years, offering travelers a direct and premium gateway between the southeastern United States and the heart of Saudi Arabia.
