STARLUX Welcomes First Airbus A350-1000 to Its Growing Fleet
aiwan-based luxury carrier STARLUX Airlines has marked a major milestone in its fleet expansion strategy with the delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000, strengthening its long-haul capabilities and global ambitions.
The A350-1000, Airbus’s largest and longest-range widebody aircraft, will enable STARLUX to operate ultra-long-haul routes with improved efficiency, lower emissions, and enhanced passenger comfort. The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, offering superior fuel efficiency and reduced operating costs compared to previous-generation widebodies.
STARLUX plans to deploy the A350-1000 on high-demand intercontinental routes, particularly services connecting Taipei to North America and Europe, as the airline continues its steady international expansion. The new aircraft complements the carrier’s existing A350-900 and A321neo fleets, creating a modern, all-Airbus long-haul lineup.
Passengers onboard the A350-1000 can expect STARLUX’s signature premium experience, including a refined cabin design, advanced in-flight entertainment, quieter interiors, and improved air quality thanks to the aircraft’s state-of-the-art systems. The airline is positioning the aircraft as a flagship product for its long-haul network.
The delivery also underscores STARLUX’s confidence in sustained global travel demand and its commitment to operating one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets in Asia. Additional A350-1000 deliveries are scheduled in the coming years as part of the airline’s broader growth plan.
With the arrival of the A350-1000, STARLUX Airlines takes another decisive step toward establishing itself as a leading premium long-haul carrier in the Asia-Pacific region.
