Passengers Grounded Around Ireland as Dublin Airport Logs 211 Delays

Passengers travelling across Ireland faced major disruption today after Dublin Airport recorded 211 flight delays and three cancellations, affecting operations at the country’s busiest aviation hub.

Several airlines were impacted, including Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Emerald Airlines, British Airways, and other domestic and international carriers. The delays caused missed connections, extended waiting times, and schedule changes for travellers throughout the day.

Short-haul European routes and regional services were among the hardest hit as congestion built up, creating knock-on delays across airline networks.

Passengers have been urged to check flight statuses regularly and contact airlines directly for rebooking or assistance as operations continue to stabilise.

Airlines are working to recover schedules as disruption continues to ripple across Ireland’s air travel network.
