Air Tanzania Launches New Muscat Route with Three Weekly Flights

DAR ES SALAAM – Air Tanzania has expanded its international network with the launch of a new route connecting Muscat, Oman, with Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, strengthening travel links between East Africa and the Gulf.

The new service will operate three times a week, providing passengers with greater access for both business and leisure travel while supporting growing tourism between Oman and Tanzania.

The route is expected to attract visitors looking to explore Tanzania’s world-famous safari destinations and the pristine beaches of Zanzibar, while also offering Tanzanian travelers improved connectivity to the Middle East.

The launch reflects Air Tanzania’s continued efforts to expand its regional and international footprint as the airline modernizes its fleet and adds new destinations. It also strengthens economic ties between Oman and Tanzania by making travel more convenient for businesses, investors, and the Tanzanian diaspora.

With tourism remaining a key pillar of Tanzania’s economy, the new Muscat service is expected to boost visitor numbers and create additional opportunities for trade and investment between the two nations.
