flydubai Launches New Direct Flights to Benghazi

flydubai has announced the launch of new direct flights to Benghazi, further expanding the airline’s growing network across North Africa and strengthening connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Libya.

The new service will provide passengers with convenient nonstop travel between Dubai and Benghazi, supporting both business and leisure travel demand while reconnecting one of Libya’s key commercial centres with the wider region.

The route marks another strategic milestone for flydubai as the carrier continues to expand into underserved markets and enhance access to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.

Flights to Benghazi are expected to operate multiple times per week from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, offering customers a choice of Business Class and Economy Class travel options aboard flydubai’s modern Boeing 737 fleet.

Commenting on the launch, flydubai said the addition of Benghazi reflects the airline’s commitment to opening up more opportunities for trade, tourism and cultural exchange while providing passengers with reliable and affordable air travel options.

The new route is also expected to benefit the Libyan community living in the UAE, as well as travellers seeking improved access to eastern Libya for commercial activities and family visits.

Since launching operations in 2009, flydubai has continued to build an extensive route network, becoming one of the region’s leading low-cost carriers with destinations spanning more than 50 countries.

Tickets for the new Benghazi service are available through flydubai’s official channels and travel partners.
