Etihad Airways Adds 29 New Cities To Network In 2025

Etihad Airways has taken its global expansion strategy to a new level, announcing services to 29 new destinations in 2025 alone. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier has been steadily broadening its reach across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas as part of a sweeping growth plan.

The new routes include a mix of popular business hubs and emerging leisure markets, underscoring Etihad’s ambition to position Abu Dhabi as a major global transit point. Industry analysts note that such rapid expansion reflects renewed confidence in travel demand and the airline’s sharpened focus on network diversification.

With these additions, Etihad is now flying to well over 100 destinations worldwide. The airline has also been ramping up fleet deliveries, introducing new Airbus A350s and Boeing 787s to support the surge in long-haul connectivity.

Executives say the goal is to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s role as a gateway between East and West, while offering passengers more choice than ever before.
